Sanjali Lachmandas has lived in Hong Kong for just over two decades and only barely sees a possible future elsewhere. She loves almost everything about the city and feels that none of the negatives really detract from living here.
Twenty-one years.
Maybe someday, but it would have to be a really good reason. Tsim Sha Tsui is a great area and everything is so accessible for any age, young or old. We have an air-conditioned underground walkway system, which can get you pretty much anywhere around the area.
Everything is nearby and you can really be efficient and get a lot of things done in a single day. Groceries, after-school activities, restaurants, malls, gyms, coffee shops – everything is within walking distance.
Looks HK to pamper yourself; the K11 Musea Dog Garden, if you have a pet; the TST Waterfront extends from Star Ferry to Hung Hom, with the most beautiful views of the city.
Probably the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) or the Kowloon Cricket Club (KCC).
The truth is that TST is convenient and always has a buzz! The traffic can be bad, but if you know the timings and days of the week that it piles up, you can decide based on the weather to take a car or not.
