A minimalist scene at Sai Wan promenade features a low-angle view along a white line on dark asphalt, leading the eye towards a solitary figure by the water. The distant, fog-covered skyline adds to the sense of solitude and introspection.
As an avid photography enthusiast hailing from Hong Kong, Ken To firmly believes that photography possesses the power to inspire others and make a positive impact on people’s lives by spreading love and hope.
Growing up in a family impacted by Huntington’s Disease – a rare and incurable genetic disorder, Ken feels compelled to utilise art as a platform to share his exceptional life experiences and raise awareness about rare diseases.
For Ken, photography is a means to sustain learning, cultivate creativity and seek new inspiration. While he specialises in black-and-white photography, he is also exploring the vibrant world of street photography to capture the spontaneous energy of urban life and uncover hidden stories within everyday scenes.
