Location

A Sony A7RIII and Sony 24-70mm; Sony 85mm F/1.8 and Sony 16-35mm lenses.

Behind the Scenes

This photois  taken around Tai Wai, in a small spare parts shop. The place had such a cinematic vibe, lit only by an old lightbulb.

Photographer in Focus

Laurens Antony.

Laurens Antony is a 29-year old Frenchman from the South of France. His story with Hong Kong began seven years ago, during a trip in which he met his girlfriend, who comes from the territory. He says it was thanks to this relationship that he decided to move to Hong Kong on a Working Holiday Visa. Antony says photography entered his life at the same time as his travels, and that today, he lives for the passion that drives him daily. He calls Hong Kong an, “inexhaustible source of inspiration”, between its dizzying architecture, vibrancy of its markets, serenity of its nature, and its 1,001 other facets, which are more than enough to satisfy his creativity.
