TENCEL™’s moisture-wicking and breathability are science-backed and Just Peachy also audits their supply chain to avoid hidden irritants.

Our mission is simple but radical: clothing that makes you feel good from the inside out,” says Victoria Chuard.

For the founder of Just Peachy, the company was born out of necessity, “When my son developed severe eczema as a baby (even reacting to disposable diapers!), and my daughter fought me daily over “itchy” clothes, I realized how little the market cared about real kids’ needs,” she says.

“I became obsessed with finding—and eventually creating—basics that actually soothe sensitive skin,” says Chuard.

After hundreds of fabric swatch tests, Just Peachy selected TENCEL™ Micro Modal, known for its science-backed breathability and moisture-wicking ability.

“Unlike cheaper modal or synthetic blends, ours is spun from ultra-fine fibers for a medical-grade softness recommended for eczema and sensitivities,” she says.

The brand has a soothing aesthetic.
Tiny undergarments that fit snugly.

Clinical psychologists also frequently recommend Just Peachy’s products, citing the importance of tactile sensitivity for emotional regulation, making it suitable for neurodivergent children.

“It’s about creating a foundation of bodily comfort that allows them to better engage with the world around them. When clothing stops being a distraction or discomfort, that’s when real coping and growth can begin,” says Chuard.

According to Chuard, what sets Just Peachy apart from others in the industry is its uncompromising standard for quality, “At the end of the day, I made these for my kids, so I won’t make compromises and the testament is that my kids refuse to wear anything else,” she says.

Partnering and working step-by-step with a mill that custom spins its fabric to meet Just Peachy’s quality standards, from fabric to dye, the health and safety of consumers and the environment are at the forefront of their mission.

“Bonus? In the right conditions, it biodegrades in weeks, not your child’s lifetime,” she says.

Just Peachy's founder became obsessed with finding—and then creating—basics that soothe sensitive skin, due to personal experiences.

Beyond the basics, Just Peachy is also planning on two new projects, including Eczema-friendly long sleeves with thumbholes and men’s boxers.

“We’re applying everything we’ve learned from kids’ sensory needs—breathable, sweat-wicking fabric that doesn’t chafe, and waistbands that don’t fold over or give muffin tops—to give adults the same relief. Because comfort shouldn’t have an age limit,” adds Chuard.

When asked about challenges she’s faced with Just Peachy, Chuard shares how getting word out as a small brand without a large ad budget is difficult.

“At one point, I considered closing down Just Peachy – it was becoming too big of a financial and mental burden for me, but then my son who just turned nine asked me, worriedly, what he was going to wear when he turned 10 because we only make Just Peachy up to size 9! That was my sign that I had to keep going and make larger sizes,” she says.

Despite these obstacles, Chuard shares how success stories she receives from parents make the journey fulfilling, “One parent told me she’s so happy her daughter’s not picking at wedgies anymore. Another told me that her kid won’t wear underwear, and though she manages to get her into some underwear to go to school, she takes them off immediately when she gets home – but not Just Peachy!”

“These stories from customers (and my kids!) are what make all the small-business struggles worthwhile.”

What’s the best work advice you have received?

“Set boundaries. As a working parent of young children, mum guilt is a real thing that is a constant nag in the back of your mind and can be very mentally unhealthy,” says Victoria Chuard, founder of Just Peachy.

“Carve out time to be the best mum you can be, the best professional you can be, the best wife, daughter, sister, friend you need to be but don’t try to be all things all at once.”

“Our life is a constant series of prioritization in order to have balance – who do you need to be today?”
