About the Artist

Lindsey McAlister, OBE, JP, a British artist based in Hong Kong for nearly forty years, founded the ‘Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation’ and has been a trailblazer in the performing arts. Decorated with JP and OBE titles, she works digitally and with diverse materials like acrylic paint, decoractive papers, and photographic transfers. Her intuitive process allows colours, textures, and compositions to emerge spontaneously, aiming to evoke shared moments of insight and introspection through lyrical visual languages.
