Usher Autumn in with the Autumn Afternoon Tea Set at the Mandarin Oriental from this month at both the hotel’s Clipper Lounge and Cafe Causette on the mezzanine floor. Just the sound of its contents has us salivating: a range of finger sandwiches and pastries, followed by a selection of freshly baked plain and raisin scones with Mandarin Oriental’s unforgettable rose petal jam and clotted cream. Finger sandwiches include Coronation Chicken with Almond, Apricots, and Raisins and Poached Salmon with Sour Cream, Lemon and Dill.The selection of sweet desserts includes the classic 1963 Mandarin Cheesecake with honey yuzu, Hazelnut Dacquoise with Pear and Cinnamon, Pecan tart with Caramel and Coffee, an Orange Milk Chocolate Éclair, Chocolate Entremets with Roasted Coffee and Sable, Vanilla Run Canelé and Chestnut Madeleine.
The Autumn Afternoon tea is HKD 848* for two with an additional HKD 180 per person for a glass of Moët and Chandon Vintage champagne. Served from 2:30pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 2pm to 5pm on Saturday and PH; and 3:30pm to 5pm on Sunday.
